Whitney Elizabeth Houston is the youngest of four children born in Newark, the state of New Jersey, on August 9 1993. Their parents include gospel vocalists Cissy Houston - n e Emily Lee Drinkard - and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick was also an international singer. The singer began her singing career in the choir at the church she attended The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the early years of her childhood at the age of 15, she had begun singing backing vocals professionally with the mother of her on Chaka Khans 1978 hit Im Every Woman. She provided backing vocals for Lou Rawls, Jermaine Jackson and her mom. Beginning in 1981, she started singing in the New York funk group Material. It was her quality vocal work that caught the attention of record label like Arista. In 1985, the debut of Whitney Houston turned out to be the best-selling debut album of all time. From the album, she released several hit singles like Saving the Day, All My Love for You How Will You Know That You Give Good Love And The More Love of All. This led to her achieving seven US Number Ones in a row. She beat even the Beatles. The album sold US 3 million copies, and later went to 25,000,000 world-wide. The album was her first win in her 6 Grammys. The Whitney 1987 record, which included the songs Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as popular songs, added to her success. But it came with The Bodyguard 1992 which cemented her status as one of the top artists around the globe. While her performance in the film and soundtrack were not well-received but their Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and its accompanying album were dominant on the albums and singles charts across the world for months. They sold 44 millions copies. Also in 1993 when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition singer and father of her sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. In 1996, the substance usage that is extensively documented started.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorwoman for the CNN newsroom and political reporter for CNN. The anchorwoman has also created several of the network's Saturday shows such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics.' Bash has also worked with other renowned channels in the past such as NBC and CBS. The awards and honors she has received include her inclusion on Elle Magazine's Women in Washington Power List. She is highly respected by her remarkable abilities as a reporter/an anchor. Her one child is the pride of her life. She has been married twice and she is now dating.
